The University of Wisconsin’s two-year MBA program in Real Estate offers an in-depth real estate graduate education. The University has a long tradition in fostering excellence in real estate education, research and outreach. The program is ranked among the best real estate programs in the country, and U.S. News & World Report consistently ranks Wisconsin’s Real Estate MBA and undergraduate programs in the top three in the U.S.  The program’s world class faculty, influential alumni and other leaders in the real estate industry make up a powerful web that connects and complements each student’s experience in the Program and beyond. Created as a joint venture between the James A. Graaskamp Center for Real Estate and the Applied Security Analysis Program (ASAP), the unique Applied Real Estate Investment Track (AREIT) program in real estate investment trust (REIT) management is the first program of its kind in the country and allows a team of second-year MBA students to have the opportunity to manage a real-world multi-million dollar portfolio invested in REITs. This special track within the Real Estate Program reflects the increasing dominance of capital markets in real estate and provides state-of-the-art education in understanding not only real estate as an asset class, but also the emerging capital markets associated with the asset. AREIT’s unique educational opportunity truly sets the Wisconsin MBA in Real Estate apart.
