The Culverhouse Real Estate Program continues UA’s real estate legacy  that began  over 80 years ago. And, housed in the Department of Economics, Finance and Legal Studies, it combines many different academic disciplines including finance, economics, sales, marketing, and law. The college offers Graduate programs with concentrations in real estate at the master’s level in MSF and MBA programs; and, real estate dissertations are accepted at the doctoral level in finance (Ph.D) and economics (Ph.D). A major benefit to students is the Alabama Center for Real Estate (ACRE), housed within  UA's Culverhouse College of Commerce. ACRE collects, maintains, and analyzes the state’s real estate statistics, and is a trusted resource for Alabama real estate research, professional development, and student outreach.
